The Laya Trek is one of the Bhutan's finest treks and route will offer a great variety of landscape from pasturland to high passes. One can enjoy the view of mount.Jhomolhari and Jichudrake. The trek will also come across isolated dzong and scattered settlement which provides a good cultural interest.

Day one:Arrival in Paro

Your flight in Druk Air will bring you to the Beautiful Himalayan Ranges and great view of mountain covered with snow capped. Our representative will received and transfer to Hotel. After lunch, Visit Tadzong or watching tower and this watching tower was converted to National museum of Bhutan in 1768 and it is fill with old antique of Bhutan.

You can also visit Paro Rimpoche Dzong built in 1646 to protect Paro valley from Tibetan invader in 17th century.

Day two:Paro

Before starting the trek, you can enjoy the short hike or two hours hike to Tigernest Monastery which is located at 900m above the Paro valley. On this beautiful cliff, Guru Rimpoche or second Lord Buddha came to this place riding on the back of tigress in 8th century. After lunch, visit Kyichu Lhakhang or one of the oldest monasteries in Bhutan.

During evening, you can move around the paro town.

Overnight stay:Hotel in Paro

Day three:Drukgyel Dzong-Shana, 17km,5/6hrs.

The trek begin from Drukgyel dzong(2580m) and this is also route to Tibet during the ancient time. The trek route will come across beautiful valley surrounded by paddy field. After crossing the valley, you will be going through green forest with blue pine and oak tree. Soon the valley widens and you reach the Army post of Gunitsawa(2810m).

Camping site will be in Shana surrounded by beautiful fores.

Day four:Shana-Soi Thangthangkha, 22km,7/8hrs.

The trail follow the pachu river and the route will come across pine,oak and spruce forests. Hot lunch will be served in the middle of the trek route. After lunch, you will climb up by following the Pachu River and we will have the good sight of rhododendron forest until reaching the Campsite.

Campsite site will be in Soithangthangkha at the altitude of 3610m

Day five: Soi Thangthangkha - Jangothang, 19 km, 5 / 6 hours

You will reach to the Army camp Then follow the river above the treeline enjoying the stunning view of the surrounding peaks. Hot lunch will be served inside the yak herder's camp.A Short walk into the valley will reach Jangothang or campsite. From camp point,you can view the mountain Jhomolhari and Jichudrake.

Campsite:Jangothang at the altitude of 4,080m.

Day six:Jangothang

Expore the surrounding of Jangothang

Day seven: Jangothang-Lingshi, 18km, 6/7hrs.

The trail will give you the breathtaking view of Mount. Jhomolhari,JIchu Drake and Tsrim Khang. Then walk towards the valley, almost flat for a while, until the climb to the Nyele la pass at an altitude of 4,700m. After the pass, its gradual descent to the Lingshi camp, enjoying the parnoramic view of the peaks and Lingshi Dzong. Campsite at altitude of 4010m
